Ox Gallstones

When we at Roshanherbals remove the Ox gallstones from the cattle's intestines, we thoroughly wash them in cold water to get rid of blood clots and other pollutants. Following washing, they are dried for two to three weeks at a temperature of around 20 degrees Celsius in a room that is dark and well-aired. The stones must be rotated often to promote better drying and prevent them from adhering to one another. The stones are put in hermetically sealed containers after complete drying.

The stones must naturally smell like strong, BSE-free animals. The many types of stones are classified into liver stones, kidney stones, pipes, mouldy stones, blood stones, cholesterol stones, and stones originating from other animals.
